If I press the left cursor key the wheels straighten and I can accelerate forward (can't turn left though).

I've checked that I have the latest drivers, and I've even tried uninstalling the controller driver and playing using the keyboard with the controller unplugged. It does the same thing no matter what I try: controller plugged or unplugged.
